Mark your calendars, because Friday, September 16 is National Guacamole Day! Guacamole Day not only gives you an excuse to indulge in your favorite dip, but it also gives you an opportunity to experiment with different flavor combinations! Pair your guac with some chips and don't forget about the margaritas! Make sure to set up your bar cart and make some delectable margaritas everyone can enjoy while munching on some chips and guac! Make the most of your ripe avocados with these simple and yummy recipes!

Classic Guacamole

Authentic guacamole doesn't contain processed and unnecessary ingredients. All you need is avocado, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeno peppers, lime juice, garlic and salt. Super easy and delicious! (recipe and photo courtesy of downshiftology.com)

What you'll need:
• 3 avocados, ripe
• 1/2 small onion, finely diced
• 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
• 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
• 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely diced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 lime, juiced
• 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Directions:
1. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a mixing bowl.

2. Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or smooth as you'd like.

3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Give it a taste test and add a pinch more salt or lime juice if needed.

Mango Madness Guacamole

Give your guac a flavorful fruity twist with fresh ripe mangoes. This recipe is packed with unique flavor that will have everyone coming back for more! (recipe and photo courtesy of getinspiredeveryday.com)

What you’ll need:
• 2 large ripe Hass avocados, peeled and pitted
• 2 Tablespoons minced cilantro
• 1 small clove garlic, minced
• 1 Tablespoon minced onion, red or yellow onion
• 1 Tablespoon minced jalapeno
• 1–2 Teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 Teaspoon Celtic gray sea salt, or to taste
• 1 cup diced mango chunks, 6 ounces, I used 1 Champagne mango

Directions:
1. Place the peeled and pitted avocados into a medium sized bowl and sprinkle all the toppings except the sea salt and mangos over the top.

2. Using a fork, mash the minced ingredients into the avocados to help release their flavor. Mash until your desired consistency is reached. Then stir in sea salt to taste and add the mangos.

3. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one day.

Classic Margarita

This classic margarita recipe is as easy as it gets. When you just want to whip up a quick and delicious margarita for yourself, this is the go-to recipe! (recipe and photo courtesy of thecookierookie.com)

What you'll need:

• 1 ounce Triple Sec
• 1 ounce lime juice fresh squeezed
• 2 ounces Tequila
• 1/3 ounce Agave syrup
• 1 cup ice

Directions:
1. Fill up cocktail shaker halfway with ice

2. Add the rest of the ingredients & shake 10-15 seconds

3. Pour into glass & garnish with lime wedge (salt the rim beforehand if you want)

Loca Rita Margarita

This feisty kicked up version of a classic marg packs a spicy punch and will transport you to a sunny, beachy place! (recipe and photo courtesy of blog.trekaroo.com)

What you'll need:

• 2 oz. Piña Loca Pineapple Tequila
• ½ oz. Triple Sec
• ½ oz. Jalapeño Reduction (a simple syrup mixture of fresh jalapeños and sugar)
• Small Bouquet of Cilantro
• 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
• 3 drops of Peychaud’s Bitters

Directions:
1. Freeze a few ounces of fresh cilantro overnight.

2. Chill a Coupe cocktail glass while preparing margarita in mixing glass

3. Add frozen cilantro and liquid ingredients into the mixing glass starting with 2 ounces of Piña Loca Pineapple Tequila, ½ ounce of triple sec,1 ounce of fresh lime juice and ½ ounce of jalapeño reduction.

4. Add ice to the mixing glass and shake vigorously until all the ingredients are mixed. Double strain the ingredients into the chilled Coupe cocktail glass. Finish the drink by adding 3 drops of Peychaud’s bitters for flavor and rich, floral aromatics.
