If the existing base of asphalt or concrete has deteriorated, stone screedings may be compacted into all the open areas or areas of deformation bringing forth exact design elevation. If the additional height of the added pavingstones system conflicts with other surrounding grades (road entrance to a residential driveway or driveway into the garage), the installation contractor need only excavate a minimal distance to both the entrance of the driveway and garage and feather the Cambridge paving system to meet proper grade.
