![]() All New Cambridge Web Site Brings An Array Of Features And Benefits
For Distributors, Contractors, Design Professionals And Homeowners
The home page now features an attractive photographic introduction and a counter that changes by the second illustrating just how many Cambridge Pavingstones have been installed. A keyword search feature helps target the location of sought-after information. Our products have been carefully grouped under a common heading on the site and available
Topics under these segments range from design ideas, color and pattern selection aids and installation instructions to newsletters, product and technical specifications, training and events calendars and much more. Professional contractors will be especially pleased to see how easy we make it for homeowners to get a recommendation (See “Need A Professional Installer?”). Our “Photo Gallery”, a well-liked destination in our prior site map, has been renamed “Design Gallery”. There are more images to view than before! Descriptive captions indicating shapes and colors have been added along with the name of the contractor responsible for the project. A Pattern Gallery is also included and each Gallery is in an easy-to-navigate slide show format. 100% of Cambridge Products are sold through our Authorized Cambridge Distributor Network, which we proudly feature on the Web site. Distributors, now your contractorcustomers can be identified by their projects — right in our Galleries. We encourage distributors and their contractor-customers to submit photos and project information for consideration. For those looking for a nearby distributor, our “Where To Buy” page has search by zip code capability, which will result in a list of Authorized Cambridge Distributors within 100 miles of the zip code entered. A separate, complete list of distributors is also available. Everything our distributors will need to plan and execute a Co-Op Ad Program is online too. It’s now simpler to view our TV commercial, listen to our radio spot as well as download approved ads, official graphics and hi-resolution photos of Cambridge installations. Distributors can still download order forms to print and fax. On the subject of downloading, the latest version — updated June 1, 2007 — of our ever-popular DesignScape Visualizer™ “Before & After” Imaging and Project Calculation Software remains accessible online. Contacting Cambridge is also simplified. Our “Contact Us” page has a convenient Customer Inquiry Form and contact information for all of our Regional Sales Specialists. Try it out…. contact us and give us your comments. (top) ![]() Universal ArmorTec Product Line Broadens Value And Reinforces Brand Awareness In 2007, our industry faces many challenges. ![]() Aqua-Bric Type 1 is a Cambridge Pavingstone that’s specially designed for rapid removal of stormwater. This Cambridge product provides the appearance and advantages of concrete pavingstones
From an engineering perspective, a permeable interlocking pavingstone system is a filtered infiltration trench with pavement over it. The perviousness and amount of infiltration are strictly dependent on the infiltration rates of the joint filling material and base materials, not the percentage of the open area on and around each paver. Water runoff is reduced by as much as 100%.
The system delivers maximum strength to handle both pedestrian and heavy vehicular traffic while providing remarkable curb appeal, convenient access for maintenance and outstanding economic results on a 30-year life cycle cost analysis. Land planning is also enhanced through the elimination of retention ponds. Aqua-Bric Type 1 — an economically smart choice for driveways, parking lots and roads — is available from The Crusader Collection and tumbled-distressed from The Renaissance Collection. Color choices for ArmorTec Crusader include Chestnut, Onyx, Ruby/Onyx, Onyx/Natural, Chestnut/Salmon, Onyx/Chestnut, Salmon/Onyx, Toffee/Onyx, Golden/Onyx, Sahara/Chestnut and Chestnut/Bronze. In ArmorTec Renaissance, available colors are Sahara, Ruby/Onyx, Onyx/Natural, Toffee/Onyx, Golden/Onyx and Sahara/Chestnut. The Aqua-Bric System This stormwater management system is designed to trap first-flush pollutants and reduce impervious areas. Pavingstones are laid out in a variety of patterns with gravel between them. The system is built on an open graded series of stone bases, which offer infiltration and partial treatment of stormwater pollutants. For examples, refer to three of several pattern designs and the Bio-Aquifer Storm System diagram. This system has been approved by the Federal EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as a post-structural BMP (Best Management Practices) for compliance with NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) Phase II rule.

This fluid design exemplifies the flexibility of the Cambridge Olde English Wall. The modular size of the wall units made it easier to incorporate outdoor kitchen appliances into the dual, counter units of randomly placed Olde English wall stones. For a lighter, open look, the Toffee/Onyx wall units were placed standing upright (a.k.a. Domino Wall) to build a sitting wall around the raised patio. The contractor chose matching, tumbled-distressed 6 x 6 and 6 x 9 along with 6 x 12 Bullnose from The Renaissance Collection for the patio. (top)

A natural look abounds in this very intimate outdoor sanctuary complete with a pool and spa. The freespirited design is set off nicely with a pool deck of randomly placed Ledgestone III Pavingstones in Sahara/Chestnut from The Sherwood Collection against natural stone.
